Recently, at the POMA conference John Annoni met author K.J. Houtman and the conversation regarding youth went on over the weekend.  K.J. donated a great set of chapter books for families that enjoy getting outdoors–fishing, camping and hunting. Positive messages, with adventures that keep you turning the pages.  Currently four books are available in the Fish On Kids Books series. The books are targeted for eight to 12-year-old readers. Get them all.  They will be used one per quarter in the academy this year.  We are excited to bring more academic offerings to our children that need exposure to the world beyond their concrete sidewalks.
