September 8th 2012, was another special day for students from the Camp Compass Academy program.  The students attended an event hosted by Cabela’s and the Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association.  For the past 12 years, the PTA has been partnering with Camp Compass to donate taxidermy services for children that have earned the right to attend hunting and fishing trips provided by the nationally awarded non profit.  This year students were able to receive their mounts at the local Cabela’s store in Hamburg, PA.

Recently, Camp Compass started a national campaign using the orange ribbon as a symbol for caring about all youth and America’s outdoor heritage.  2  Million Bullets is a call to action campaign that proves to youth that hunters and shooters care about them.  The photo above is BULLETPROOF.  It is proof that caring adults called Bullets can help young men and women into the outdoors and make a difference in the quality of  their lives.
