Another Saturday found some of our students in the field using their learned skills to pheasant hunt.  One thing that was learned is why a dog is man’s best friend.  To avoid lots of stickers it’s a necessity to have a 4 legged friend when chasing those cagey birds.  We also got to try out our new Savage over Under shotguns that were great.  There is something that says “class” when your afield after what many consider to be the world’s prettiest bird.
