After 27 years of giving my life to urban children, it’s time I make this statement. The problems that America is having with race, religion and economic struggles are at the very least disheartening. If I’m being totally honest –they suck actually. Everybody ripping for their piece of the pie at the expense of our children and the media loving it. I always knew it would take a special effort to show the nation, hell the world, that there are places where those things that divide us don’t really matter. Yep, I’ve been saying it for years, Mother Nature doesn’t care what you look like, she doesn’t care where you live nor how much money you make. She treats everybody the same and accepts NO EXCUSES. It sometimes takes a supernatural force to right the wrongs we humans create. So with her permission and the vision of a few, we stepped up and said “let’s make society better and prove we as a group of people embrace her magic for our youth.” The result is us helping kids at campcompass.org
To those in the outdoor industry and outside of it, “if you want to make the world better place prioritize and find a way to help all kinds of others embrace Mother Nature.”
Enjoy our documentary of blended ages, skills and skin colors in the outdoors. Mother Nature does prove her worth to those that embrace her. She has a way of unifying us and Camouflaging Our Differences.
