A full  lesson on crows hinges on  getting them to cooperate in the field.  After a successful harvest and a first lesson made up of literature and comprehension, our students were able to do some “hands-on research” as a closing acttivity.  Learning about crows helped our students learn about the reasons for scarecrows, crow hunting and about their  adaptions. Nothing like getting to see the real thing up close.
